“Photography is like sneaking into the kitchen late at night and stealing Oreo cookies”

Diane Arbus.

My Oreo cookie is modeling passion and energy for photography.  My favorite response to students is “try it” whatever “it” is…ideas, methods, and concepts.  I make sure students can take risks and think out of the box in a nurturing environment.  Encouragement of exploration and discovery are key ingredients in the learning process.  Teaching art is a recipe of culture, learning styles, creativity and cross curricular exploration. Art is a universal language and creative license to do anything imaginable.
